Katy ISD has named four seasoned campus educators to new principal assignments, continuing the District’s commitment to strong leadership, student achievement and campus excellence.
From concert halls and theater stages to art studios and dance studios, 272 Katy ISD seniors are taking their talents to the collegiate level after being recognized during the District’s annual fine arts signing celebrations.
Pole vaulting at a high level requires a combination of speed, strength and trusting the techniques that take practice, repetition and refinement. Conquering these attributes, Cinco Ranch High School’s Breeana Borresen has proven herself as one of the top pole vaulters in the nation and gained confidence with each competition.
Katy ISD’s newly-elected board members Cicely Taylor, Jim Davidson and Nathan Shipley took the oath of office and were officially sworn in as members of the Board of Trustees for Positions 3, 4 and 5, respectively, at the May Board Meeting.
Representing the exceptional Class of 2026, Katy ISD proudly recognizes this year’s valedictorians and salutatorians, students who have excelled academically while distinguishing themselves among the nation’s top young scholars.
Katy ISD Career and Technical Education students delivered outstanding performances at the SkillsUSA Texas State Leadership and Skills Conference, earning multiple state championships, medal finishes and national championship qualifications.
